Moments become paintings

For me, art means holding on to special moments. I like working with acrylics most of all. Alongside that I love urban sketching: drawing on location, while travelling or right in the middle of things at events. It is precisely these immediate moments that appeal to me — they are spontaneous, alive and full of personal impressions.

In my pictures I hold on to memories, places and everyday moments. Many of my motifs grow out of travel experiences and encounters connected for me with a story or a special moment.
